Drilling & Sizing

Standard IKEA Sizing & Boring

We offer doors and drawer fronts sized and configured (bored and/or drilled) to fit/function on all of IKEA’s major cabinetry lines (Sektion, Akurum, Pax, and Godmorgon.) All standard configurations are available in our order builder.

Semi-Standard IKEA Sizing & Boring

Coming very soon we will be offering the ability to purchase doors that are, what we call, “semi-custom.” These doors will be offered in a variety of incremental sizes between the standard options but will still fit and function normally with IKEA’s hardware. These items are perfect for situations where you want to combine sizes that normally aren’t available or perhaps you are modifying your cabinet box but still want your fronts to fit and function. Keep your eyes peeled and check back for these products.

Custom Sizing

Most components are able to be configured/ordered in completely custom sizes. Sizes falling outside of the above stated-criteria will not be bored for hinges or hardware (doors and drawer fronts will be blank on the back.) Standard & Custom Cover Panel Sizing

We offer cover panels sized to fit all of IKEA’s major cabinetry lines (Sektion, Akurum, Pax, and Godmorgon.) We offer both standard cover panels sizes and the ability to input your own custom cover panel size (within limits) into our order builder. Standard & Custom Filler Sizing

We offer a filler for every situation. We offer both standard filler sizes for all of IKEA’s major cabinetry lines as well as the ability to custom input your own filler sizes (within limits) into our order builder. For a more in-depth look into what’s possible, check out our article on fillers.

Toe Kicks, Light Rail, and Molding

Toe Kicks

Our standard toe kick dimensions for IKEA Sektion systems are 4.5″ x ¾” x 96″ (or 91″.) It is possible to configure a custom-sized toekick using our order builder.

Light Rail

Similar to our L-Fillers, light rail comes in a 2″ x 2″ L-shaped piece (cross-section) and is full length (91″ or 96″). Light rail is installed underneath your upper cabinetry to cover or hide the under-cabinet lighting.

Molding Options

Moldings are offered in full lengths (91″ or 96″) and vary in price. It is recommended that if you are unfamiliar with how to use and install molding that you either hire a professional or educate yourself prior to selecting what you need. In order to install molding such that it has a professionally installed appearance, a considerable amount of skill, precision, and dedicated tools may be necessary.

Floating Shelves

Floating shelves are a great way to open up a space. We offer floating shelves that match or complement your SuperMatte kitchen.
